The Piancornello's Brunello di Montalcino offers elegance and structure, ready to be enjoyed, but will also be capable of beautiful evolutions. This wine comes from 100% Sangiovese grapes, grown in the vineyard in Montalcino. It is a Brunello characterized by a lot of fruit and freshness but also by the complexity given by the passage in wood.

Note di degustazione

Intense ruby red with a garnet hue. The nose opens to notes of red and black berries, spices and herbs. The palate is full-bodied and fruity, with a consistent, dense and perfectly balanced tannin, followed by balsamic notes and a long, harmonious and gradual finish.

Affinamento

A minimum aging of 24 months in oak barrels is followed by at least 4 months in bottles.
