Descrizione

The Azienda Agricola Attanasio is managed by a typical family of Salento wine growers. Giuseppe Attanasio takes care of vineyards, about 6 hectares of Apulian sapling in the Manduria countryside, with over seventy years of experience. The cellar is built in a late nineteenth century building. Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale Passito is made only in particular dry vintages that allow to extend the drying up to the first days of October. In the old tradition, the bunches were cut and left to dry on a bed of dried grass prepared at the foot of the stump to obtain a very sweet wine that, in the past, was saved for the most important holidays and anniversaries.

Note di degustazione

Ruby red color. Deep and fruity, with a complex bouquet ranging from dried figs to flavors of black cherry and anise. Full-bodied it gives an enveloping softness well balanced by acidity and ripe and perfect tannins. Constant development with increasing intensity, notes of raspberry, cherry and plum jam.

Affinamento

Aged in steel tanks for 24 months.
