Descrizione

The Azienda Agricola Attanasio is managed by a typical family of Salento wine growers. Giuseppe Attanasio takes care of the vineyards, about 6 hectares of Apulian sapling in the Manduria countryside, with over seventy years of experience. The cellar is built in a late nineteenth century building. The wines reflect the traditions, the territory and the passion of the Attanasio family in the wine making.

Note di degustazione

Ruby red with purple reflections. Nose of great intensity that opens on the fruitiness of the blackberry, cherry, plum and tobacco. Good alcohol and tannins; long and persistent finish characterized by sweet and balsamic notes and white chocolate aromas.

Vinificazione

Alcoholic fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature with long skins maceration.

Affinamento

24 months in steel vats, 36 months in barriques (12 months in barriques of 225 liters and 24 months in barriques of 114 liters).
