Descrizione

The Azienda Agricola Attanasio is managed by a typical family of Salento wine growers. Giuseppe Attanasio takes care of the vineyards, about 6 hectares of Apulian sapling in the Manduria countryside, with over seventy years of experience. The cellar is built in a late nineteenth century building. The wines reflect the traditions, the territory and the passion of the Attanasio family in the wine making.

Note di degustazione

Intense ruby red color, with notes of red jam, raspberries, blueberry, anise, sweet spices. The body is full and tasty with soft tannins and good alcohol that create a good balance, the elegance is surprising. Very long finish with sweet cherries notes.

Vinificazione

Alcoholic fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature with long skins maceration.

Affinamento

Aged for 11 months in steel tanks, then in barriques for 15 months (20% new, 40% three years old barriques, 40% five years old barriques).
